Fit2box have one of the largest and and most comprehensive programs in the south, starting from the age of 3 years all the way up to 16 before they move in to the adult classes, with regular gradings, assessments and constant verbal and written feedback to parents on their childs/childrens progression.

Watch your siblings enjoy and learning a new skill in our chill out, viewing area which also has sofas, tv and coffee machine for you to relax for the time they are training.

With sometimes over 5 instructors in one class your child will get constant attention, put in to groups according to age and ability, generally 1 instructor to 5 students, if a student is struggling in a particular area or has an up coming assessment we can put them in a smaller group or even 121 with a trainer for maximum learning potential.

From 3 to 19 years they will be doing a combination of kickboxing and boxing, learning technique drills and exercises sometimes put in to unique games to help their progression, once they hit 9 nines years they have a choice of moving solely in to boxing or towards the kickboxing/muay Thai direction, or a combination of the two.

the programs are broken down into 3 age ranges:

LITTLE KICKS PRE-SCHOOLERS

Ages 3-4 year olds, Monday and Wednesday at 15:45 30mins long maximum 10 children a class.

This is for our youngest students, playing lots of fun sports specific non contact games learning about about technique and fitness, we encourage parents to join in by holding pads and kick shields.

LITTLE KICKS

Ages 5-9 year olds Monday and Wednesday at 16:15 45 mins long.

This is one of our most popular classes on our timetable, generally you will see between 4 to 7 instructors in this class, they will do a 10 minute warm up all together then split into groups depending age and experience, lots more time spent on technique in this class than the previous Little kicks Pre-schoolers, once they hit a certain standard they will be encouraged to take regular assessments and gradings, feed back will then be given back to chart their progress.

YOUTH BOXING

Ages 10-16 year olds Tuesday, Thursday at 17:30 and Saturday at 11:00.

This class again ups the level of technique training and starts working towards practical scenario training of defence, counters and pushing towards sparring games, we do light sparring at around 12-13 years old only if the student wants to do it and the parent signs a consent form, (no one spars without a consent form), no one pushed in to sparring and many of the kids who train decides not to, but the option to spar is there for them (for sparring we insist on (head guards, big gloves and gum shield, without it students can't spar).

YOUTH KICKBOXING

Ages 10-16 Monday and Wednesday at 17:30.
