BEGINNERS BOXING COURSE
The course starting on September 19th is going to be 6 weeks long, 2 lessons a week every Monday and Wednesday at 18:15.
The 12 lesson course is for complete beginners and will teach you all the basics of boxing, while improving fitness.
WHAT THE COURSE COVERS
– Basic stance and footwork
– Shadow boxing and the importance of it
– How to throw basic punches to head and body
– How to defend and how to counter from your defence
– How to speed skip
– Beginners circuits for boxing training
– How to hold and hit pads
– Learn how to spar
This course will be an excellent spring board and when completed you will competently be able to do all this and more, you will be ready to move on to light contact sparring if thats what you want to do.
Boxing training is something everybody wants to do but it gets put off to a later date because of “work commitments” or “want to get fitter before they start” or you maybe find boxing gyms intimidating.
If you’re reading this and that sounds like you, this is the course for you. With a maximum of 10 people, everybody taking part will be starting together at beginner level
